Our FOUR Little Ducks (formerly Our Three Little Ducks :)~

I'm a mom to FOUR amazing kids, one of which was adopted from South Korea. Our family is wild and crazy, and REALLY LOUD but lots of fun. Oh, and my new favorite quote is: "HAVING KIDS IS LIKE BEING PECKED TO DEATH BY A DUCK." So so so true.

I am currently a SAHM, but prior to leaving my job I was a labor and delivery nurse. I really miss work, but I enjoy being home with my kids (most of the time anyway!).

I need your prayers.

As you know, my sister was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37 (she is a 2 year survivor now). Because of her history, and because my mother died at a young age from Ovarian Cancer, I get checked out by doctors quite frequently.

I had a breast MRI done about 2 weeks ago. On the MRI they saw a "suspicious spot" and recommended a "breast biopsy". So, on November 30th, I will go have as MRI guided needle biopsy of my Right breast.

I'm terrified. Not so much of the biopsy, but the results. I don't even want to think about it. After loosing my mom at 13 years old, I know how HORRIBLE it was growing up without her, and I FEAR for my kids. I know that I'm thinking too far ahead, but I can't help it. I'm worried.

I will update when I have the results. In the meantime, I hope you have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING. My sister had a Breast MRI done the day before mine and hers was "crystal clear" according to her doctor, so for that, I am thankful.

Blessings,

Ryan
